Peter Green’s Les Paul Available Now!

Last Saturday’s BBC documentary about Peter Green served to remind everyone just how amazing this forgotten original guitar hero was (and still is). Green deserves to be regarded in the same way people like Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton or Jimi Hendrix are – Peter Green is one of the best guitarists ever.

Peter Green fans, however, are lucky enough to be able to grab a fantastic replica of his classic Fleetwood Mac-era Gibson Les Paul: the Vintage V100 Lemon Drop.  The guitar not only look the business, with its aged, battle-scarred looks, but also bears a faithful recreation of his guitar’s unique features: reverse-fitted neck humbucker and out of phase centre position wiring, which created one of the most recognisable guitar sounds of the genre – the real “Black Magic” Fleetwood Mac sound!

The guitar is available now at Dolphin, and it’s proving to be one of the most popular guitars Dolphin currently sell…which’s not surprising, considering its a truly beautiful, fantastic-sounding and unique Les Paul!

Just grab a Lemon Drop guitar, use a reverb box (such as the Holy Grail – Green loved reverb units) and plug it to an Orange amp, and you’ll be on your way to get great Peter Green tones. Of course, you can only dream of playing as good as he did…
