Gibson Honors Princess Diana by Donating Guitars to Charity

Prince William and Prince Harry recently marked the 10th anniversary of the death of their mother, Princess Diana, with an event to celebrate her life.At the Concert for Diana on July 1, three Gibson guitars were signed by performers at the event and are now for auction on eBay, along with the designer’s model of the stage used for the show. To help in the commemoration of Diana’s life and legacy, the guitars donated by Gibson were signed by David Beckham, Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, Joe Perry, James Morrison, Rick Parfit, Francis Rossi, Fergie, Kiefer Sutherland, Bryan Ferry, Nelly Furtado, Rod Stewart, Roger Hodgson, Tom Jones, Lily Allen, Joss Stone, and members of the bands Take That and Orson.Proceeds from the auction will be divided equally amongst the charities of which the Princess was patron at the time of her death; the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund; and the Sentebale charity founded by Prince Harry in her memory.
